Clark & Karsh: Architecture | Design | Development

Tower Grove, Beverly Hills

Tower Grove was a seven-year, three-phase residential construction project in Beverly Hills. Phase One: pool terrace, pool house and pavilion, major related retaining walls. Phase Two: 6000 square foot entertainment structure built into a steep slope, with lighted roof tennis court and loggia viewing area. Housed in the entertainment building: theatre, virtual golf, lounge, recording studio, and the offices of Clark & Karsh. Phase Three: two-story guest house and stone and glass conservatory, both tucked into hillsides, and significant main house exterior improvements. All three phases included extensive site stone and brick work and landscaping, including installation of over 40 mature trees and thousands of smaller box trees and shrubs.

Brad Clark and Martha Karsh were part of the design and construction team that collaborated throughout the project; Brad formerly managed the project for the executive architect and, after forming Clark & Karsh, was a consultant; Martha is the owner. The two worked closely with New York-based design architects Ferguson & Shamamian, and prominent interior and landscape designers, as well as a large team of engineers, consultants and contractors.
